Coloured Cottages
Themed Models
This page shows examples of cottages produced in one of the recognised colour variations (red, blue, green). To fall within this group, the cottage code shown on the underside of the cottage needs to have a colour code as well as the cottage number e.g. "1R", "3B", "11G".
Red Cottages
Cottages finished in red are relatively easy to find [Uncommon]. Several examples are shown below. However there is significant variation in the colouration; the Bow Fronted Shop below is pink rather than red.
The first is cottage is number 10 (Labourers Cottage) in the numbered series of cottages produced by Mudlen End Studio.
The group of 4 smaller pictures in the grid below show other shots of this example of the Mudlen Cottage No 10 in red.

And when is blue not blue? The final example in blue is cottage number 13 (Large timbered house) in the numbered series of cottages produced by Mudlen End Studio, but despite being finished in what is quite obviously a blue finish, it does not carry the trailing "B" designator of the cottage number. Any oversight when it was being marked perhaps?.

The only example I have in my collection is cottage number 11 (Bow Fronted Shop) in the numbered series of cottages produced by Mudlen End Studio.
