Construction: | Conventional box camera, covered in leatherette in various colours, used as a premium for the Fox Company in the US. The camera divides just behind the viewfinders, with the back section released by two pivoted catches and pulling out the winding key. Removing the rear section then reveals the film carrier assembly, allowing the film to be removed / loaded. |

The Rainbow Hawk-Eye No 2A box camera was made in a set of colours, in common with many other models in the late 1920s and early 1930s and its companion camera the Rainbow Hawk-Eye No 2. The Fox Company used it as a premium camera with a silver emblem on the side (similar to the Anniversary Kodak) carrying the company logo.

Description
Red coloured variant of the Rainbow Hawk-Eye No 2A box camera, with "Your Kodak Finishers / The Fox Co / San Antonio Texas" medallion on the upper rear corner. The silver foil is quite worn with significant edge damage.
