The Kings Head, Chigwell
Presentation Models
This model of Ye Olde Kings Head, Chigwell, Essex produced by Mudlen End Studio is the largest of the presentation model that I have as yet encountered. It is also the only model that I have seen that has a serial number, showing that it was only produced in limited numbers. I believe it was produced to celebrate the re-opening of the pub in 1985 after it had been renovated; the inscription on the back states that it was made for the Chigwell Gallery.
Unlike many of the other large models produced by Mudlen End Studio, this one does have backstamp on the underside.
The group of 4 smaller pictures in the grid below show other shots of this example of the The Bull Hotel made by Mudlen End Studio. Note that this model is signed by Hart - one of only two models that I have that carries his name.

The Kings Head, Chigwell is located on Chigwell High Road, in Chigwell, Essex and apparently dates back to the 17th century although much extended and modified since that time. While it went through a major renovation in the led up to its reopening in 1985, the building was once more in the news in 2010 when the freehold was bought by Sir Alan Sugar.
Notes
The model is very difficult to find [Scarce], being number 48 of just 100 that were produced
