No 44 Omega House
Numbered Series
This cottage is number 44 (the last) in the numbered series of cottages produced by Mudlen End Studio and is identified in the Mudlen brochure as Omega House "(Twilight Home for Destitute Potters)". It has an unusual level of detail on the front face of the model.
The model also carries more detailing on the rear face than is common with many of the other models in the numbered series.

Notes
This model is very difficult to find as seemingly it was only made in limited numbers [Hard to Find]. I have a folded A4 paper catalogue of the Mudlen numbered series (it also includes the Church) that shows the complete series including number 44, but has an adjacent note added in pen by the collector who used it to track their collection that states "Not yet in production!". I assume the collector must have made enquiries about the model to discover that it wasn't generally available at that time. Unfortunately the catalogue is not dated.
At the time of writing these notes, I had been collecting for nearly 10 years before finally acquiring this example, thereby completing the numbered series. Its desirability also means that online auction prices for this model are consistently far higher than that achieved for others in the numbered series. A few examples turn up each year.
My example pictured on this page has its fair share of minor chips and loss of paint on the roof edges, which is not uncommon, although a few good examples have appeared on the market.
