No 15 Clapboarded Water Mill

Numbered Series

This model is number 15 in the numbered series of cottages produced by Mudlen End Studio and is identified in the Mudlen brochure as the Clapboarded Water Mill.

The example of the Clapboarded Water Mill model shown below was one that I had picked at random from a number that I have acquired and photographed for the site only to have a fellow collector point out that it does not actually adhere to the conventional paint pattern used for the model as it has cross-hatched windows. Presumably this was a mistake by the painter.

There is also an early version of the Clapboarded Water Mill model, which is much narrower in form and is hard to find.

Notes

This later version of the model is quite easy to find [Common], and is only available in this one colourway, although the colour of the roof can vary in shade. The early model is much more difficult to find but does turn up from time to time [Hard to Find].
