This model of the Chigwell Cottages, Essex produced by Mudlen End Studio is not part of the numbered series.

The model of the Chigwell Cottages (Essex) appears to be a commemorative model. The underside carries an early Mudlen End Studio backstamp (Felsham) but the rear of the model carries an inscription for "Chigwell Cottages 1733". Perhaps this was a 250th anniversary? Does anyone have any further information?

I believe this is a model of a pair of cottages in the High Road, Chigwell, which are in private hands as far as I can tell (one was recently offered for sale). The buildings are Grade II listed. The cottages have a white clapperboard exterior.

Notes

The model is very difficult to find [Scarce], and as far as I am aware, is not available in other colour variations.
